Ukraine/Russland/NATO – der Sammler am 6. Dezember 2022
A drone attack on Tuesday struck near an air base in Russia, a local official said, a day after Ukraine used drones to hit two military bases deep inside the country in one of its most brazen attacks in the nine-month war. If Ukraine’s forces are confirmed to have been involved in the latest strike, it would add to signs that Kyiv is willing to bring the war closer to Moscow and to President Vladimir V. Putin.
Russian officials did not directly accuse Ukraine in Tuesday’s attack, which hit an oil facility near an airfield in the Kursk region, 80 miles from the Ukrainian border. The regional governor said on Tuesday that a fire caused by the strike had been extinguished and that there were no injuries.
• Das britische Intel Update:
On 05 December 2022, multiple open sources reported explosions at Engels Airbase, in Russia’s Saratov Oblast, and at Dyagilyaevo airfield near Ryazan, south-east of Moscow.
Two Tu-95 BEAR heavy bombers were reportedly damaged at Engels and three people were killed when a fuel tank exploded at Dyagilyaevo.
The causes of the explosions have not been confirmed. However, if Russia assesses the incidents were deliberate attacks, it will probably consider them as some of the most strategically significant failures of force protection since its invasion of Ukraine.
The sites are much deeper inside Russia than previous similar explosions: Engels is over 600km from Ukrainian-controlled territory.
Engels is the main operating base of Russia’s Long Range Aviation (LRA) within western Russia and is home to more than 30 heavy bombers.
These aircraft contribute to Russia’s nuclear deterrent and have also frequently been used to launch conventional cruise missiles at Ukraine. The LRA is likely to respond by temporarily moving bombers to dispersal airfields.
The Russian chain of command will probably seek to identify and impose severe sanctions on Russian officers deemed responsible for allowing the incident.

The Russian Armed Forces continue to liberate Donbass. Recently Maiorsk, Pavlovka, Opytnoye, Andreevka, Belogorovka Yuzhnaya and Kurdyumovka have come under the Russian control.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces‘ troops and equipment were severely damaged in Lugansk–Donetsk and South Donetsk directions.
Enemy losses in November amounted to over 8,300 troops, five aircraft, ten helicopters, 149 tanks, and over 300 armoured fighting vehicles.
The Russian Armed Forces are launching massive, long-range, precision-guided strikes against the military administration, defence industry complex enterprises, and related facilities to crush Ukraine’s military potential.
Russia’s troops are taking all measures to ensure the safety of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The Kiev regime, for its part, is attempting to create the impression of a nuclear disaster by deliberately shelling the site.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have fired 33 large-calibre shells at the station in the last two weeks alone.
Russian Air Defence systems intercept most of Ukraine’s weapons.
However, some of them have an impact on infrastructure that are critical to the safe running of a nuclear power station. Russia classifies these Ukrainian attacks as nuclear terrorism.

Ganz Europa wartet darauf.
@Dominik
Colonial Mindset.
@AlterOLt
@Nicolo15

@AlterOT:
