Russian aviation group continue intensifying air strikes using high-accuracy missiles against the ISIS facilities in Syria.
Using the means of space, air and other reconnaissance, we detect new targets in the action areas of the illegal armed groups and immediately engage them after having checked the information.
Su-34, Su-24M and Su-25 pilots performed 20 flights over the last day. They hit 10 ISIS facilities.

Su-25 attackers hit the terrorist training camp in Idlib province. As a result, they destroyed the hideouts and explosive device manufacturing.
Su-24M and Su-34 bombers hit 8 ISIS facilities near Jisr al-Shugur, Idlib province.
The pilots engaged 3 munition, POL and armament depots of the illegal armed groups. KAB-500 aviation bombs detonated the ammunition and armament.
Using BETAB-500 concrete-piercing bombs, the jets destroyed 4 command posts of the ISIS armed groups. The facilities with terrorists are completely destroyed.
As a result of the strikes, facilities with terrorists, ammunition and POL depots have been destroyed, 5 armored vehicles have been disabled.
Su-24M and Su-25 jets performed three strikes against command post and ammunition depot near Maarrat al-Nu’man. All the targets have been engaged.
Su-34 bombers attacked the ISIS special training camp and ammunition depot with KAB-500 aviation bombs near Al-Tabqa, Ar-Raqqah province. As a result of explosion of the munition depot, the terrorist training camp was completely destroyed.

• Nachdem türkische Kampfjets eine russische Maschine über dem Territorium der Türkei abgefangen haben, spricht die russische Seite von einem Navigationsfehler:

Russia has informed Turkey that the violation of Turkish airspace near the Syrian border on Oct. 3 was due to a “navigation error,” according to Turkish military sources.
They said a Russian SU-30 breached Turkish airspace for hundreds of meters in the southern district of Yayladağı in Hatay province for two minutes at 12:10 p.m., but returned to Syrian airspace after one warning.

• Nach einem russischen Medienbericht scheint es Überlegungen für eine Seeblockade Syriens zu geben:

Russia’s Black Sea Fleet may be used in Syria to blockade the Syrian coastline and deliver armaments, as well as possibly deliver artillery strikes, the head of Russian State Duma’s defense committee and former Black Sea Fleet commander Vladimir Komoyedov said. (…)
„Regarding the large-scale use of the Black Sea Fleet in this operation, I don’t think it will happen, but in terms of a coastal blockade, I think that it’s quite [possible]. The delivery of artillery strikes hasn’t been excluded; the ships are ready for this, but there is no point in it for now. The terrorists are in deep, where the artillery cannot reach,“ Komoyedov said.

Auch hier dann weiter nach Entwicklung.
