The twentieth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion began.
Status, position and nature of actions of the defense forces without significant changes.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are inflicting devastating blows on groups of troops and the rear infrastructure of the occupiers.
During the past 24hrs, four helicopters, one plane and a fighter shot down an enemy cruise missile were hit by a group of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The groups of the occupying forces involved in the offensive did not have significant success in all areas of advance. The main efforts continue to be focused on maintaining the occupied borders.
The enemy continues to launch missile and bomb attacks on critical infrastructure. Uses a network of health care facilities in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine to treat wounded personnel.
Also, the invaders continue to insidiously use civilian infrastructure to equip firing positions, deploy weapons and military equipment.
According to the available information, due to the inability to maintain the functioning of institutions and organizations to ensure the livelihood of settlements in the temporarily occupied territories of ORDLO (certain areas of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts), the occupiers are forced to suspend the mobilization of communal workers.
The moral and psychological state of the enemy remains low, which leads to the refusal of servicemen of the rf Armed Forces to carry out the orders of the command. Also, according to available information, mobilized residents from the occupied territory of some districts of Luhansk region are sent to replenish the losses of active units of the Russian occupation forces involved in hostilities in Ukraine.
The enemy is trying to capture Mariupol. Ukrainian soldiers successfully repulsed the attacks of the invaders. The total losses of the enemy amounted to about 150 people, 2 tanks, 7 infantry fighting vehicles and one armored personnel carrier. After the losses, the occupiers stopped the offensive and retreated.
Artillery and aircraft inflicted fire damage on the accumulation of military equipment and enemy columns on the advance routes. According to the available information, as a result of the artillery fire, 12 units of motor vehicles were destroyed.
The battalion tactical groups from the 336th Separate Marine Brigade and the 11th Separate Assault Brigade also suffered.
No signs of preparation for a naval landing operation were found in the Black Sea and Azov operational zones.

Briefing by Russian Defence Ministry:
Units of the Russian Armed Forces, continuing the offensive, captured Stepnoye.
The grouping of troops of the Lugansk People’s Republic is continuing the offensive in the north-eastern districts of Severodonetsk city.
On the morning of March 14, high-precision long-range weapons attacked Ukraine’s military infrastructure.
As a result of the strike, communication, retransmission and switching hubs were disabled in Fedorovka, Vinarovka, Antopol. In addition, a large ammunition depot for multiple launch rocket systems was destroyed on the territory of Antonov plant near Kiev, from the sites of which Russian troops were fired at.
On the afternoon of March 14, the air defence of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down, 2 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, including 1 Bayraktar TB-2.
Operational-tactical, army and unmanned aviation hit 86 military infrastructure assets of Ukraine, including: 4 command posts and communication centres, 3 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1 radar station, 1 electronic warfare station, 3 ammunition and fuel depots and 68 areas of military equipment concentration.
In total, 145 unmanned aerial vehicles, 1,298 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 124 multiple launch rocket systems, 469 field artillery and mortars, as well as 1,047 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed during the operation.
The Kiev regime continues to use terror tactics, using the most destructive types of weapons against civilians and civilian infrastructure.
Earlier, we brought information about the consequences of today’s strike of the Ukrainian tactical missile Tochka-U with cluster munitions on a densely populated block of Donetsk.
In response to these actions, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation will take prompt measures to disable the enterprises of the military-industrial complex of Ukraine engaged in the production, repair and restoration of weapons that nationalists use to commit war crimes.
We urge Ukrainian citizens working at these enterprises, as well as residents of nearby residential buildings, to leave potentially dangerous areas.
A number of Western countries at the state level encourage the participation of their citizens as mercenaries of Ukraine in hostilities against units of the Russian troops. All responsibility for the death of this category of foreign citizens in Ukraine lies on just the leadership of these countries.
We know all the locations of foreign mercenaries in Ukraine. They will continue to be targeted, similar to the destruction of training centres at Yavorovsky training ground in Starichi on March 13.
I want to warn you again – there will be no mercy for mercenaries, no matter where they are on the territory of Ukraine.

Tomorrow, ministers will start an important discussion on concrete measures to reinforce our security for the longer term, in all domains.
On land, this could include substantially more forces in the eastern part of the Alliance, at higher readiness, and with more prepositioned equipment.
We will also consider major increases to our air and naval deployments. Strengthening our integrated air and missile defence. Reinforcing our cyber defences. And holding more and larger exercises.
I expect we will task NATO’s military commanders to develop options for our Madrid Summit in June.

For months, we have exposed Russia’s long list of lies. (…) Now they are making absurd claims about biological labs and chemical weapons in Ukraine. This is just another lie. And we are concerned that Moscow could stage a false flag operation, possibly including chemical weapons. (…)
Any use of chemical weapons will be a violation of international law, will be a violation of the ban that… or the treaty that bans chemical weapons and Russia has signed to that convention. And we call on Russia not to use chemical weapons. We call on Russia to withdraw all its forces and to stop the fighting but in particular, not to use any chemical weapons. Russia has used chemical agents before to attack and actually kill political opponents. We have also seen that Russia has supported the Assad regime in Syria and helped to facilitate the use of chemical weapons several times in Syria. And any use of chemical weapons is absolutely unacceptable and therefore it is also extremely important that Russia understands that it is unacceptable if they consider any use of chemical weapons. And we are also very vigilant about the possibility of them trying to stage some kind of pretext, false flag operation to provide an excuse for any type of use of chemical weapons. (…)
We have seen that they throughout this crisis have tried to create different kinds of false flag operations to try to provide excuses for use of force. We saw that in the lead up to the intervention. And now we have seen them accusing Ukraine and also NATO Allies [of] producing and developing chemical weapons and that’s an absolute lie. And therefore it also makes us a bit concerned about the possibility that they are actually planning to do that. And the President of the United States and other Allies also made it very clear that if they use chemical weapons, there will be a high price to pay. But I will not speculate about any military response from the NATO side except for saying very clearly that NATO’s main responsibility is to make sure that we defend and protect all Allies.

An offensive operation against Ukraine continues. The enemy is stopped. Failure to achieve the goal in a timely manner, it incurs losses in manpower and equipment.
Boldly ignoring the norms of international humanitarian law, the russian invaders are launching missile and bomb attacks on critical infrastructure of Ukraine, civilians, residential areas, schools and kindergartens. The facts of holding civilians hostage, robbing the local population and looting are recorded.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine are fulfilling their tasks of repelling armed aggression against Ukraine. Deployed parts of the reserve in certain areas were regrouped and counterattacked.
Fighting continues for the liberation of the outskirts of Mariupol. Soldiers of the Azov Regiment defeated one of the units of the 22nd Special Brigade of the Armed Forces of the russian federation.
In the Luhansk region, during the day, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed five MLRS BM-21 „Hradl“ with ammunition to them, three T-72 tanks, one APC-3 and more than 15 enemy soldiers. These data are being clarified.
Measures are being taken to cover the state border of Ukraine and the sea coast. A stabilization operation is being carried out in some areas and territorial defense tasks are being carried out.

On day 20 of Russia’s war, we continue to assess limited to no progress by Russian ground forces in achieving their objectives.
Kyiv remains under bombardment by long range fires, with civilian targets – to include residential areas – being struck with increasing frequency. But leading elements of Russian forces have not appreciably advanced on the city.
We estimate Russian forces are still about 15-20km to the northwest and about 20-30km to the east. Ukrainians hold Brovary and are still defending Kyiv.
Chernihiv remains isolated, but we still assess that Ukrainians are working to keep a line of communication open. Mariupol is likewise isolated and still suffering heavy bombardment.
Russian forces are still on the outskirts of Kharkiv, where, as before, they face stiff Ukrainian resistance. We’ve observed no apparent movement toward or past Mykolaiv.
While we have observed some LSTs operating in the northern Black Sea, we are not seeing any imminent amphibious movement toward Odesa.
There are no changes to the air picture to report. The Russians have now fired more than 950 missiles. There are no new strikes into western Ukraine to report.
We assess that the Russians have approximately 90% of their combat power available to them; same for the Ukrainians.
We have seen no movement of Russian forces stationed elsewhere in Russia being deployed to the west to reinforce the BTGs the Russians already have in Ukraine. And we’ve seen no evidence of Russian efforts to flow in additional supplies from inside Russia or from elsewhere. But we have reason to believe the Russians are considering their resupply and manning options.
We still have no indications of Belarus inserting troops or preparing to do so.“
We have no updates on the convoy. It is still stuck.
We have nothing to report with respect to Russian chemical or biological weapons.
We cannot confirm Ukrainian reports of the deaths of senior Russian officers.
Security assistance from the United States and other nations continues, to include over the last 24 hours. We will not detail the specifics, but these shipments did include weapons.
