In der Nacht vom 31. Dezember 2022 auf den 1. Januar 2023 griffen russische Besatzer die Ukraine mit Kamikaze-Drohnen iranischer Bauart „Shahed-131/136“ an.
Als Ergebnis der Kampfhandlungen zerstörte die Flugabwehr der Luftwaffe in Zusammenarbeit mit der Flugabwehr anderer Komponenten der ukrainischen Verteidigungskräfte 45 Angriffsdrohnen.
Dreizehn im Jahr 2022 und 32 – im Jahr 2023.

Day 312 of the russian military aggression has begun.
During the day of December 31, 2022, the adversary launched 31x missile and 12x air strikes, as well as more than 70x MLRS attacks. Civilian infrastructure of Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson oblasts was damaged. Information on civilian casualties is being finalized.
In addition, the enemy launched 13x Iranian Shahed-136 combat UAVs. All of them have been destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
The threat of enemy air and missile strikes across all of Ukraine remains high. Stay cautious!
During the day of December 31, 2022, Ukrainian troops repelled the occupant forces’ attacks in the vicinities of settlements of Stel’makhivka, Ploshchanka, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Soledar, Bakhmuts’ke, Bakhmut, Ozaryanivka, Mar’inka, and Pobjeda (Donetsk oblast).
Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the situation is stable, the enemy maintains military presence in the border areas, no signs of the formation of offensive groups have been found yet.
Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna axes: the adversary fired artillery and mortars at the vicinities of settlements of Buchky and Yasna Polyana (Chernihiv oblast); Novovasylivka, Vyntorivka, Ulanove, Studenok, Khodyne, Hirky, Iskryskivschyna, Krasnopillya (Sumy oblast), and Udy, Strilecha, Alisivka, Krasne, Starytsya, Hatyshche, Vovchans’k, Ternova, and Katerynivka (Kharkiv oblast).
Kup’yans’k axis: Lozova Persha, Zakhidne, Masyutivka, Tokarivka, Kup’yans’k, Orlyanske (Kharkiv oblast), Novoselivs’ke, Stel’makhivka, and Andriivka (Luhansk oblast) were shelled.
Lyman axis: Ploshchanka, Makiivka, Nevs’ke, Dibrova (Luhansk oblast), Chervonopopivka, Terny, and Tors’ke (Donetsk oblast) came under fire.
Bakhmut axis: the enemy fired tanks, mortars, artillery and missile systems at the positions of our troops in the vicinities of more than 25x settlements. Among them are Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmuts’ke, Bakhmut, Kostiantynivka, Kurdyumivka, Maiors’k, and New York (Donetsk oblast).
Avdiivka axis: Vesele, Avdiivka, Nevels’ke, Mar’inka, Krasnohorivka, and Novomykhailivka (Donetsk oblast) came under fire.
Novopavlivka axis: the adversary keeps shelling Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, and Mykil’s’ke (Donetsk oblast).
Zaporizhzhia axis: occupants‘ fire was reported in more than 20x settlements. Among them are Ol’hivs’ke, Hulyaipole, Stepove, Charivne, and Dorozhnyanka (Zaporizhzhia oblast).
Kherson axis: russian occupants continue terrorizing civilians. Civilian infrastructure of Antonivka, Tokarivka, Mykolaivka, and Kherson has been shelled.
The enemy continues to lose its manpower. During the last week, about 350x wounded servicemen of the invaders were delivered to the city hospital of Bilovods’k (Luhansk oblast).
On December 30, 2022, enemy losses made up to 160x wounded occupants, 10x units of military equipment of various types were destroyed in Zaporizhzhia oblast. Information about the eliminated invaders is currently being finalized.
The enemy intensified counter-intelligence activities in the vicinity of settlement of Lyman Druhyi (Kharkiv oblast). The invaders are searching for pro-Ukrainian population among the civilians.
The Ukrainian Air Force launched strikes at 1x concentration of the enemy, as well as 1x position of its anti-aircraft missile system, while our missile and artillery units hit 1x command post, 4x concentrations of manpower, as well as 1x UAV control post of the occupants.

On 31 December 2022, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a strike by high-precision long-range air-based armament at the defence industrial facilities of Ukraine involved in producing assault unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) designed for committing terrorist attacks against the Russian Federation. The parking ramps and launch sites of the assault UAVs have also been neutralised.
The goal of the attack has been reached. Kiev regime’s plans to commit terrorist attacks against the Russian Federation in the nearest future have been frustrated.
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation.
In Kupyansk direction, Russian forces have neutralised the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) near Kotlyarovka, Ivanovka, Podoly, Pershotravnevoye (Kharkov region), and Novosyolovskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic).
Over 40 Ukrainian personnel, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, and 1 pickup have been eliminated.
In Krasniy Liman direction, artillery attack has resulted in the neutralisation of 5 company tactical groups from 92nd Mechanised and 95th Airborne Assault brigades of the AFU, as well as from 111th Territorial Defence Brigade near Rozovka, Stelmakhovka (Lugansk People’s Republic), and Serebryanskoye forestry.
The enemy has lost over 150 Ukrainian personnel, 1 armoured personnel carrier, and 2 pickups.
In Donetsk direction, Russian troops continue their offensive.
Fire attacks and intensive action of Russian units have resulted in the elimination of over 110 Ukrainian personnel, 2 infantry fighting vehicles, 5 armoured fighting vehicles, and 7 motor vehicles.
In South Donetsk direction, AFU units made unsuccessful attempts to launch a counterattack near Dorozhnyanka (Zaporozhye region) in order to regain the lost positions.
Artillery strikes and action of Russian forces have resulted in repelling of all the counterattacks.
Over 50 Ukrainian personnel, 2 armoured fighting vehicles, and 3 motor vehicles have been eliminated.
Moreover, 6 Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups, that had operated towards Novoandreyevka, Dorozhnyanka (Zaporozhye region), Nikolskoye, Neskuchnoye, and Novomikhaylovka (Donetsk People’s Republic), have been eliminated.
Missile Troops and Artillery of the Russian groups of forces have neutralised 68 artillery units at their firing positions, manpower and military equipment at 102 areas.
1 mobile airspace observation radar of the AFU has been destroyed near Kamyshevakha (Donetsk People’s Republic).
1 U.S.-manufactured AN/TPQ-50 counterbattery warfare radar has been destroyed near Artyomovsk (Donetsk People’s Republic).
1 AFU artillery ordnance depot has been destroyed near Mirnoye (Zaporozhye region).
Within the counterbattery warfare, 2 Polish-manufactured Krab self-propelled howitzers, that had been used for shelling residential areas of the Donetsk People’s Republic, have been destroyed at their firing positions near Ivanopolye and Zvanovka (Donetsk People’s Republic).
In addition, 2 Ukrainian D-20 howitzers have been destroyed near Nevskoye (Lugansk People’s Republic).
Fighter Aviation of Russian Aerospace Forces has shot down 1 Mi-8 of Ukrainian Air Force near Poltavka (Donetsk People’s Republic).
Air defence facilities have destroyed 15 Ukrainian UAVs near Maksimovka, Nikolayevka, Nikolskoye, Metallist, Zelyoniy Gai, Slavnoye (Donetsk People’s Republic), Ploshchanka (Lugansk People’s Republic), Tsapovka (Belgorod region), Ocheretovatoye (Zaporozhye region), Ochakov (Nikolayev region), Liman Vtoroy (Kharkov region), and Dzhankoy (Republic of Crimea).
Moreover, 7 rocket-propelled projectiles launched by HIMARS multiple-launch rocket system have been intercepted near Popasnaya, Makeyevka, and Popovka (Lugansk People’s Republic).
In total, 355 airplanes and 199 helicopters, 2,779 unmanned aerial vehicles, 399 air defence missile systems, 7,350 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 957 combat vehicles equipped with MRLS, 3,756 field artillery cannons and mortars, as well as 7,859 units of special military equipment have been destroyed during the special military operation.

Operational update regarding the russian invasion as of 18.00, January 1, 2022
The three hundred twelfth (312) day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a russian military large-scale invasion continues.
During the day, russian enemy carried out 35 airstrikes, in particular, the Shahed-136 UAV, all of which were shot down by units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine. russian occupiers also fired 16 rockets from multiple rocket launchers, in particular, at a children’s hospital in the city of Kherson.
The danger of air and missile strikes remains on the entire territory of Ukraine. Do not ignore air raid signals.
The enemy, who lost 760 people killed just yesterday, continues to attempt offensive actions on Bakhmut and tries to improve the tactical position of units of its troops in the Kupyansk, Lyman and Avdiivka directions. The enemy is defending in the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia directions, and is regrouping troops in the Kherson area.
The situation is stable in the Volyn, Polissya, Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, and no signs of the formation of offensive groups of the occupiers have been detected.
On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the areas of Buchky and Yasna Polyana settlements of Chernihiv oblast were subjected to artillery shelling; Novovasylivka, Vyntorivka, Chernatske, Ulanov, Studenok, Khodyne, Iskriskivshchyna, Krasnopillya and Uhroyidy in Sumy oblast and Morokhovets, Zelene, Starytsa, Ohirtseve, Mala Vovcha, Mylove, Vovchansk, Dvorichna, Moskovka and Kamyanka in Kharkiv oblast.
In the Kupyansk direction, the areas of Masyutivka, Orlyanske, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka and Krokhmalne settlements in Kharkiv oblast and Vilshany and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk oblast were shelled.
In the Lyman direction, Ploschanka, Nevske, Yampolivka, Torske and Dibrova of the Luhansk oblast were hit by fire.
In the Bakhmut direction, more than 15 settlements were affected by the fire of various caliber artillery, among them – Spirne, Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Klishchiivka, Kurdyumivka, Druzhba, Mayorsk and Ozeryanivka of the Donetsk oblast.
Vodyane, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Maryinka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk oblast were again shelled in the Avdiivka direction.
In the direction of Novopavlivka, the enemy attacked Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, and Mikilski in the Donetsk oblast.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, enemy fire was recorded near more than 15 settlements. Among them are Vremivka, Zelene Pole and Novopil of the Donetsk oblast; Olhivske, Poltavka, Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznychne, Charivne and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia and Novosilka in Kherson oblast.
In the Kherson direction, the civilian infrastructure of the settlements of Havrylivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Beryslav, Lvove, Ivanivka, Ingulets, Inzhenerne, Antonivka and Kherson were damaged by enemy fire.
In order to destabilize the humanitarian situation in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson oblast and to force the local population to the so-called „voluntary evacuation“, the russian occupying forces are firing mortars at Oleshky, Hola Prystan, Plavni, as well as country settlements between the mentioned settlements.
Mobilization measures continue in the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea. Military commissariats have started checking lists of people who have not yet participated in a large-scale invasion of Ukraine and are subject to conscription for mobilization in 2023.
The enemy continues to use civilian facilities for the treatment of armed russian occupiers. Thus, in the city of Pervomaisk, Alchevsk district, Luhansk oblast, in the premises of a local school, the occupiers deployed a „field hospital“ and are treating about 100 servicemen of the occupying forces. In addition, more than 150 wounded mercenaries of the „wagner“ PMC are being treated in the premises of the local maternity hospital, equipped as a military hospital.
The Ukrainian aviation made 13 strikes on the areas of the invaders, and our units of missile forces and artillery hit 2 areas of concentration of the enemy’s manpower and military equipment.
