• Erneute Meldung zu geplanten iranische Waffenlieferungen – von CNN (mit der interessanten Frage, wer denn officials from a western country that closely monitors Iran’s weapons program sein könnten):
Iran is preparing to send approximately 1,000 additional weapons, including surface-to-surface short range ballistic missiles and more attack drones, to Russia to use in its war against Ukraine, officials from a western country that closely monitors Iran’s weapons program told CNN.
The shipment is being closely monitored because it would be the first instance of Iran sending advanced precision guided missiles to Russia, which could give the Kremlin a substantial boost on the battlefield.
When opening the teleconference, the Minister of Defence stated that in accordance with the Presidential Decree dated 21 September, 300,000 persons have been conscripted within the partial mobilisation. ‘At the initial stage, there were deficiencies in the activities of military commissariats. We adopted emergency measures to improve the organisation of their work. It brought certain results. All the regions have provided military units with the assigned number of mobilised personnel. On 29 October, the General Staff sent instructions on concluding the conscription within the mobilisation’, the head of the defence ministry said.
As for the conscription autumn conscription campaign, over 2,700 conscription boards have commenced their work in the 85 regions of the Russian Federation. A total of 120,000 people are to be conscripted for a 12-month-long military service. The military commissariats are provided with all the necessary facilities, including clothing and medical supplies, as well as individual protection means.
Conscripted servicemen operate in accordance with the assignment of their units. At the same time, they are not to be sent to the area of the special military operation.
General of the Army Sergei Shoigu underlined once more that after completing their service, all conscripted people are to be sent home.
• Das britische Intel Update:
Imagery showed two MiG-31K FOXHOUND interceptor jets were almost certainly parked at Belarus’s Machulishchi Airfield on 17 October, with a large canister stored nearby within a protective earth berm.
It is likely that the canister is associated with the AS-24 KILLJOY air launched ballistic missile, a large munition which the MiG-31K variant is adapted to carry.
Russia has fielded KILLJOY since 2018, but it has not previously been deployed in Belarus. Russia has occasionally launched these weapons during the Ukraine war, but stocks are likely very limited.
It continues to expend its advanced long-range munitions against targets of limited operational importance.
With a range of over 2000km, basing KILLJOY in Belarus gives Russia little added advantage in terms of striking additional targets within Ukraine.
It has likely carried out the deployment mainly to message to the West and to portray Belarus as increasingly complicit in the war.
The operational update regarding the russian invasion on 06.00, on November 1, 2022
The two-hundred-fifty-first (251) day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a russian military large-scale invasion continues.
The enemy is trying to hold the temporarily captured territories, concentrates efforts on restraining the actions of the Defense Forces in certain directions, while at the same time not stopping offensive operations in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.
The enemy continues shelling units of the Defense Forces along the contact line, carries out fortification equipment of the lines in separate directions and conducts aerial reconnaissance. Strikes critical infrastructure and civilian homes, violating international humanitarian law, laws and customs of war.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy launched 60 missile and 15 air strikes, carried out more than 45 MLRS attacks.
Areas of more than 50 settlements, in particular: Soledar, Vuhledar, Yakovlivka, Vesele of the Donetsk region, were hit by the enemy.
On the Volyn and Polissya directions, the situation will remain without significant changes. The republic of belarus supports the armed aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine. The russian federation continues the transfer of individual units to the territory of the republic of belarus. The threat of missile strikes and the use of attack drones from the territory of the republic of belarus remains.
The enemy shelled in other directions:

In the Southern Buh direction, more than twenty settlements along the contact line suffered fire damage.
The occupiers carry out forced displacement of the civilian population. Thus, in the Kakhovka settlement of the Kherson oblast, citizens living in apartments along the banks of the Dnieper are forcibly evicted from their homes. The russian invaders are equipping engineering fortifications and mine-explosive barriers around civilian housing. In the settlement of Novochornomorya, Skadovsky district, russian servicemen psychologically and physically put pressure on civilians. They are kicked out of their own homes. The houses released in this way are planned for occupation by the occupants.
Aviation of the Defense Forces during the past day struck the enemy 14 times. Areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, strongholds and positions of the enemy’s air defense systems were hit. In various directions, our air defense units shot down 4 helicopters, 2 UAVs and 45 enemy cruise missiles.

The occupiers continue to forcibly relocate the civilian population in the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson oblast. The enemy is resorting to intimidation of civilian residents, spreading information about the possible undermining of the Kakhovska HPP dam. At the same time, the local population is deprived of means of communication.
The russian occupation administration of Kherson was moved to the city of Skadovsk.
The occupying command is trying to compensate for the constant loss of personnel in enemy units that take direct part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine with mobilized servicemen. With those who refuse to participate in combat operations, the so-called „work“ is carried out by the employees of the fsb of the russian federation.
According to updated information, the destruction of the enemy’s ammunition depots in the Zaporizhzhia region was confirmed on October 29. Units of missile troops and artillery hit two areas of concentration of manpower, weapons and military equipment, an ammunition warehouse and four other important military objects of the enemy during the day.

@NOR
Link: https://politiken.dk/udland/art9063438/Finland-vil-som-Nato-land-tillade-atomvåben-på-finsk-jord
@Radartyp:
So verhandelt man international, erst Recht gegenüber Russland.
Also um Mitsprache.
