Ukraine/Russland/NATO – der Sammler am 24. September 2022

But if you get into the Russian army, sabotage any activity of the enemy, hinder any Russian operations, provide us with any important information about the occupiers – their bases, headquarters, warehouses with ammunition. And at the first opportunity, switch to our positions. Do everything to save your life and help liberate Ukraine.
Since the beginning of active actions in the east of our country in September, about 9 thousand square kilometers of territory and about 400 settlements have already been liberated. This tangible result was achieved in particular thanks to the fact that our people in the temporarily occupied territory helped us. Please do everything to increase such help.
Give our special services all the information about those who organize and help conduct this farce with sham referenda. Provide all information about the Russian mobilization, about the Russian army in general. Help those in the occupied areas who need it: elderly people, single people, families with children. Ukraine will return to all its lands, and we must save as many of our people there as possible.

• Das britische Intel Update:

On 21 and 22 September 2022, Russia struck the Pechenihy dam on the Siverskyy Donets River using short range ballistic missiles or similar weapons. This follows a strike on the Karachunivske Dam near Krivyy Rih in central Ukraine on 15 September 2022.
Ukrainian forces are advancing further downstream along both rivers. As Russian commanders become increasingly concerned about their operational set-backs, they are probably attempting to strike the sluice gates of dams, in order to flood Ukrainian military crossing points.
The attacks are unlikely to have caused significant disruption to Ukrainian operations due to the distance between the damaged dams and the combat zones.

• Das Morgenbriefing des ukrainischen Generalstabs:

Operational update of General Staff of the UAF regarding the russian invasion as of 06:00, on September 24, 2022
The two hundred-thirteenth (213) day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a russian military large-scale invasion continues.
The enemy continues to focus its efforts on attempts to fully occupy the Donetsk oblast and hold the captured territories, as well as disrupt the active actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas. Fires at the positions of our troops along the entire contact line, tries to restore lost positions, conducts aerial reconnaissance.
The enemy does not stop striking the civilian infrastructure and the homes of civilians. The threat of air and missile strikes by the occupiers remains throughout the territory of Ukraine.
Over the past day, the russian invaders launched 5 missile and 14 airstrikes, carried out more than 60 rounds of anti-aircraft fire at military and civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, the laws and customs of warfare.
More than 60 settlements were affected by enemy fire. The situation in the Volyn and Polissya directions has not changed significantly.
In other directions, the enemy fired from tanks, mortars, and artillery:
in the Siversky direction – in the areas of settlements of Pavlivka, Myropilske, Krasnopillya, Mezenivka and Slavhorod of the Sumy oblast;

In the temporarily captured and occupied territory of Ukraine, the occupying power holds so-called „referendums“. In connection with the low percentage of visits to the „polling stations“, employees of the „election commissions“, accompanied by armed servicemen of the armed forces of the russian federation, collect signatures of local residents directly at their places of residence.
In the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson regions, the occupation authorities began serving mobilization summonses to men of conscription age who renounced Ukrainian citizenship and received passports of the russian federation.
Servicemen of the russian occupation forces continue to commit illegal actions against the civilian population and engage in looting. So, according to available information, in Melitopol, the so-called „kadyrivtsi“ seized a dealer’s warehouse of agricultural machinery and are trying to sell off the property.
During the day, units of the Defense Forces repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Odradivka, Kurdyumivka, Zaitseve, Mayorsk, Kamianka, Avdiyivka and Opytne settlements. Aviation of the Defense Forces made 25 strikes.

Colonel General Mikhail Mizintsev, chief of Russia’s National Defense Management Center, was appointed as deputy defense minister for logistics, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Saturday. (…) Army General Dmitry Bulgakov, who held this position before, has been relieved of it due to his transfer to another job.

As well as targeting Putin’s propaganda machine, the government is also sanctioning prominent Russian Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev.
Dubbed ‘the butcher of Mariupol’, Mizintsev is the Chief of the National Defence Command and Control Centre, where all Russian military operations are planned and controlled worldwide. Mizintsev is known for using reprehensible tactics, including shelling civilian centres in both Aleppo in 2015-16 and now in Mariupol – where atrocities are being perpetuated against Ukrainian people.
