Ukraine/Russland/NATO – der Sammler am 8. Juni 2022
Norway has donated 22 M109 155mm tracked self-propelled howitzers. The donation also includes gear, spare parts and ammunition. (…)
The Norwegian Army has recently replaced their M109 artillery guns with new artillery from South Korea, but still has M109 stored. 22 of these have been donated, along with gear, spare parts and ammunition. Norway has also trained Ukranian soldiers on how to use the system. This training has taken place in Germany. (…)
The artillery pieces have been shipped from Norway. The Norwegian government has waited to publicly announce the donation for security reasons. Future donations may not be announced or commented upon.
• Das britische Intel Update:
Russia continues to attempt assaults against the Sieverodonetsk pocket from three directions although Ukrainian defences are holding. It is unlikely that either side has gained significant ground in the last 24 hours.
While Russia is concentrating its offensive on the central Donbas sector, it has remained on the defensive on its flanks.
Ukrainian forces have recently achieved some success by counter-attacking in the south-western Kherson region, including regaining a foothold on the eastern bank of the Ingulets River.
With the frontage of the occupied zone stretching for over 500km, both Russia and Ukraine face similar challenges in maintaining a defensive line while freeing up capable combat units for offensive operations.
In the occupied Kherson region, Russia is forcibly aligning its administration with that of the Russian Federation by introducing the Russian rouble as legal tender and employing Russian teachers to introduce the Russian curriculum and language to schools.
Russia will highly likely claim its occupation of Kherson as evidence of delivering improved governance and living standards to the Ukrainian people.

https://militaryland.net/ukraine/invasion-day-104-summary/

@visegrad24
It now turns out that Germany won’t send the M270 MLRs Scholz promised to Ukraine until much later than thought.
The Germans say the weapons system lacks a software update making it possible to fire American and British missiles. The transfer “won’t happen before winter.”
Auch:
@worldonalert
It’s a disaster! German officials have said that Germany can’t send the IRIS-T SLM ground-based air defense system to Ukraine before November or December and the promised four MARS II MLRS will also not be delivered before winter because of problems with software and ammunition

„ That is why we emphasize: Ukraine desperately needs heavy weapons , and very fast. We have proved that, unlike many others, we do not fear the Kremlin. But as a country we cannot afford to be losing our best sons and daughters.
Therefore, our goals are as follows:
• to obtain a significant amount of NATO-type MLRS units with ammo;
• to ensure complete replacement of some existing Soviet-type calibers (worn guns, shells not produced or scarce) with platforms that are common in NATO countries and equipped with ammo;
• to agree with partners regarding the transition from supplies of separate platforms to integral organic units immediately ready for combat. This will significantly boost efficiency on the battlefield;
• to ensure the supply of hundreds of heavy armored vehicles, without which effective counterattack is impossible. It should be considered that Soviet equipment is mostly obsolete and needs to be prepared for combat. Meanwhile, we are receiving only light armor from partners, not necessarily with weapons;
• to obtain fighter jets, anti-aircraft and missile defence systems to protect our skies.„
