Ukraine/Russland/NATO – der Sammler am 6. April 2022

April 2022:

• Das britische Intel-Update:

Heavy fighting and Russian airstrikes have continued in the encircled city of Mariupol.
The humanitarian situation in the city is worsening. Most of the 160,000 remaining residents have no light, communication, medicine, heat or water. Russian forces have prevented humanitarian access, likely to pressure defenders to surrender.

• Das Morgenbriefing des ukrainischen Generalstabs (interessant die Angabe am Schluss zu abgeschossenen Marschflugkörpern):

The forty-second day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a russian military invasion began.
A russian federation continues to conduct full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. The enemy’s main efforts are focused on preparing for an offensive operation aimed at establishing full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.
The threat of russian enemy use of naval, air and ground-based missile weapons continues. The russian occupiers are inflicting fire on the defense complex, logistics infrastructure and residential areas of cities.
At the same time, the russian enemy is trying to improve the tactical position in the South Buh direction. The use of the territory of the self-proclaimed Transnistrian-Moldavian Republic to support the offensive operation in this direction is not ruled out. Preparations for receiving aircraft are being carried out at Tiraspol airfield.
The russian enemy does not abandon attempts to involve mercenaries from other countries in hostilities against Ukraine to make up for its losses in manpower. At the same time, the use of mercenaries will not have a significant impact on the course of hostilities, given their small number.
The command of the 200th separate motorized infantry brigade (Pechenga, Murmansk region) of the 14th army corps, which involved two battalions tactical groups in the war with Ukraine, trains servicemen to make up for losses. According to available information, the total loss of the brigade in manpower is about 30%. One battalion tactical group was destroyed, the other was withdrawn to the area of recovery in the Belgorod region.
There are no signs of the formation of offensive groups in the Volyn direction. Certain units of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus continue to carry out tasks to cover the Ukrainian-belarusian border.
The occupiers did not take any active action in the Polissya direction. Some of the enemy units withdrawn from this direction are located on the territory of the republic of belarus. Recovery measures are ongoing, presumably to regroup and strengthen other groups. It is possible that russian troops will not leave the territory of the republic of belarus in order to restrain the actions of the Defense Forces of Ukraine and prevent their transfer to other areas. Another goal is to assist the republic of belarus in covering part of the belarusian-Ukrainian border.
In the Siversky direction, the restoration of the enemy’s russian occupation units, which had previously been withdrawn to the Bryansk and Kursk regions of the russian federation, is underway.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy continues to block the city of Kharkiv and launch artillery shelling in its separate areas.
According to available information, the losses of the 236th Artillery Brigade of the 20th All-Army are about 20 percent of the personnel and weapons. This significantly reduced the intensity of the brigade’s actions.
In the Izyum direction, the russain occupiers did not abandon their intentions to create a strike group and continue the offensive in the direction of the settlements of Slovyansk and Barvinkove.
In the Donetsk direction, the enemy is trying to improve the tactical position of its units. Continues to carry out assault operations in the areas of Popasna, Stepne, Novotoshkivske, Rubizhne, Siverodonetsk and Solodke. It is not successful.
The russian occupiers continue to actively use munitions prohibited by international humanitarian law. Attempts to storm Mariupol do not stop. The defenders of the city held a heroic defense for more than forty days, restraining the overwhelming forces of the Russian invaders.
In the Tavriya direction, in the area of the settlement of Basan, the movement of some units from the 58th All-Military Army was recorded, probably for the purpose of regrouping forces.
In the South Bug area, the enemy is taking measures to restore combat capability and take measures to engineering equipment positions. Continues to terrorize civilians in the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region.
As a result of offensive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy lost control over the settlements of Dobryanka, Novovoznesenske and Trudolyubivka. Fighting continues in the area of the settlement of Alexandrivka.
The group of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 8 cruise missiles for the previous day. The Air Force aircraft continued to support the actions of the ground forces of the Defense Forces and launched air strikes on the occupying forces.

• Das Morgenbriefing des russischen Verteidigungsministeriums:

On the morning of April 6, high-precision air- and ground-based missiles destroyed 5 fuel storage bases near Radekhov, Kazatin, Prosyanaya, Nikolaev and Novomoskovsk.
These facilities have been used to supply fuel to Ukrainian military formations in Kharkov, Nikolaev and Donbass areas.
During the night, operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces hit 24 military assets of Ukraine.
Among them: 1 Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system, 5 logistics depots, as well as 11 strong points and areas of Ukrainian military equipment concentration.
Russian Air Defence means shot down 4 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the air near Berdyansk, Gornyak, Uvanskoe and Chernobaevka.
In total, 125 Ukrainian aircraft and 93 helicopters, 407 unmanned aerial vehicles, 227 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1,978 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 215 multiple launch rocket systems, 854 field artillery and mortars, as well as 1,882 units of special military vehicles were destroyed during the operation.

• Notizen aus dem regelmäßigen Pentagon-Briefing, von Dan Lamothe von der Washington Post:

A background briefing with a senior defense official at the Pentagon about the war in Ukraine just concluded.
It’s Day 42 of the war, and here are some takeaways:
Notable: In the last 24 hours, the Pentagon assessed that Russian forces have completely withdrawn from the Kyiv and Chernihiv areas, senior defense official says.
No significant changes in south. Pentagon has seen reports that Ukraine has surrendered Mariupol, “but we do not assess that that has happened,” senior defense official says.
Russians have moved from northern Ukraine into Belarus for refit and resupply. There are indications those efforts are underway, senior defense official says.
“Our assessment is that they won’t want to spend too much refitting and resupplying because they have made a very public show of saying that they’re going to prioritize their efforts on the Donbas region,” senior defense official says.
Of the 130 battalion tactical groups Russia applied to the invasion, more than 80 are still inside Ukraine, senior defense official says. Each generally has 800 to 1,000 troops, senior defense official says.
Pentagon is working under the assumption that “the majority” of the Russian units that have withdrawn will be reapplied elsewhere in the war after resupplying.
“But we just don’t know,” senior defense official says.
There has not yet been a tangible increase in Russian forces in the Donbas region, senior defense official says. They have dedicated more than 30 battalion tactical groups there so far, likely amounting to more than 24,000.
Ukrainian forces have been “recalibrating since the beginning,” and are continuing to do so in eastern Ukraine, senior defense official says. Notes that Ukraine took advantage of Russia pulling back elsewhere to attack.
“As they have beaten back the Russians or as the Russians have left, they are reoccupying that ground and making their own assessments about what their force posture ought to be going forward,” senior defense official says.
Ukrainian forces “are absolutely adapting and adjusting in real time to Russian efforts now to increase their activities there” in eastern Ukraine, senior U.S. defense official says.
One of the reasons the Pentagon announced last night another $100 million in weapons transfers to Ukraine is because there was an “urgent need” for Javelins in the Donbas and the Ukrainians want to be ready.
“Lots of adjustments in real time,” senior defense official says.
As of today, the Russians have launched more than 1,450 missiles since launching their invasion, senior defense official says.
Airstrikes in recent days are concentrated heavily south of the Ukrainian town of Izyum and into the Joint Force Operations (JFO) area.
On Bucha: Pentagon doesn’t have a clear read on why atrocities were carried out. But the killings there “certainly appear to be premeditated” and “deliberate,” senior defense official says.
“Clearly a message was sent to the world of Russia’s brutality, and that’s the message that should not be forgotten here,” senior defense official says of brutality in Bucha.
North of Kyiv, Ukraine is doing de-mining operations, senior U.S. defense official says. Ukraine will have to make sense of what to do there next.
On fuel: U.S. has “had discussions with the Ukrainians about fuel needs and fuel requirements,” senior defense official says. Adds that he will “leave it at that.”

• Das Abendbriefing des ukrainischen Generalstabs:

A russian enemy continues to prepare for an offensive operation in eastern Ukraine in order to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. A russian occupiers are regrouping troops and conducting reconnaissance, trying to improve the tactical position of separate units in the South Buh area and gain a foothold on the administrative borders of the Kherson region.
The main focus of a russian enemy’s efforts is to conduct offensive operations in order to break through the defences of the Joint Forces in the Donetsk direction. It is also trying to take full control of the city of Mariupol.
The regrouping of russian troops and the restoration of combat capability of the Central Military District units deployed to the Bryansk and Kursk oblasts are nearing completion.
Training and relocation of units of the occupying forces of the armed forces of the russian federation to the territory of Ukraine is underway. The enemy planned to move units of the 38th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 35th All-Military Army of the Eastern Military District from the territory of the republic of belarus to the Belgorod Region. The movement of some units of the Central Military District to this region is also recorded.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, no significant changes were found in the position and condition of the enemy troops. Units of the Eastern Military District withdrawn to the territory of the Gomel region are completing the regrouping.
The movement of russian enemy units to railway stations for loading and subsequent redeployment is noted.
The enemy continues to block Kharkiv in the Slobozhansky direction. Mostly at night, the russian occupiers shell the city using multiple rocket launchers, artillery and mortars. In the area of the city of Izyum, the enemy did not take active action. By forces of separate divisions of the 20th all-military and 1st tank armies of the Western military district it carries out regrouping.
To increase the efficiency of the transfer of military cargo, the enemy began to use the railway. The arrival of railway echelons with weapons and military equipment from the Valuyki station (russian federation) to the Kupyansk railway station (Ukraine) has been recorded.
In the Donetsk and Luhansk directions, the enemy’s main efforts are focused on hostilities in the areas of the settlements of Popasna and Rubizhne and the establishment of control over the city of Mariupol. A russain enemy is trying to improve the tactical position.
Russian enemy continues to fire in most areas.
The enemy carried out artillery shelling in the areas of Kreminna, Pisky, Ocheretino, Rozivka, Novobahmutivka, Novosilka Druha, Marinka and Krasnohorivka.
In the areas of Popasna, Stepny, Novotoshkivske, Rubizhne, Severodonetsk and Solodky, the enemy carried out assault operations, but was unsuccessful.
The storming of the city of Mariupol continues, while the enemy is actively using aircraft.
In the South Bug direction, the enemy continues to shell the settlements of Shcherbaki, Komyshuvakha, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Huliaipilske, Lukyanivske, Preobrazhenka and Huliai Pole.
As a result of offensive actions of units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the enemy lost control over the settlement of Osokorivka.

Furthermore, the cynical provocation by Ukrainian neo-Nazis with the mass deaths of civilians in Bucha, carried out with the full support of the Kiev regime, is yet another evidence of genocide against its own people. And this was done against civilians who allegedly did not offer resistance to the Russian Armed Forces during their stay in the said locality. All this is staggering in its inhuman cruelty.
This inhuman and horrific crime by the Kiev regime should be thoroughly investigated with the involvement of international human rights organizations.
But the Ukrainian authorities will not stop there.
Similar provocations involving civilians in the towns of Konotop and Trostyanets in the Sumy region and in Borodyanka and Katyuzhanka in the Kyiv region have now been prepared.
We know for a fact that the Kiev regime is also preparing further provocative materials on the deaths of civilians, allegedly as a result of the actions of the Russian army.
To this end, Ukrainian nationalists shelled Dergachi in Kharkov Region, after which they videotaped the destroyed buildings and „numerous dead“ for transmission to the Western media. Representatives of Western news agencies took part in this action, which was directed by servicemen of the 72nd Centre for Information and Psychological Operations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. At the same time, all civilian participants in the staged filming were paid a cash reward of 25$.
Taking the above into account, we warn the countries of the so-called „civilized West“ led by the United States of America in advance, the Russian Federation has an operational evidence base of another horrific crime being prepared by the Kiev regime with the instigation and full approval of your own representatives. A similar Bucha scenario, with unfounded accusations against the Russian Armed Forces, will not pass this time.
