Has there been some movement by some Russian units away from Kyiv in the last day or so? Yeah. We think so. Small numbers. But we believe that this is a repositioning, not a real withdrawal, and that we all should be prepared to watch for a major offensive against other areas of Ukraine.

Russian units suffering heavy losses have been forced to return to Belarus and Russia to reorganise and resupply.
Such activity is placing further pressure on Russia’s already strained logistics and demonstrates the difficulties Russia is having reorganising its units in forward areas within Ukraine.
Russia will likely continue to compensate for its reduced ground manoeuvre capability through mass artillery and missile strikes.
Russia’s stated focus on an offensive in Donetsk and Luhansk is likely a tacit admission that it is struggling to sustain more than one significant axis of advance.

Nachtrag: Jetzt das ganze Transkript hier.

• Das Morgenbriefing des ukrainischen Generalstabs:

The thirty-fifth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to the russian military invasion has begun.
The russian enemy continues to conduct full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine.
Units of the 4th (Tskhinvali district, South Ossetia) and 7th (Abkhazia) military bases, which are part of the Southern Military District of the Armed Forces of russian federation, were transferred from the occupied territories of Georgia to the territory of Ukraine in order to recruit the armed forces of the russian federation.
From the 4th military base, three BTGs with a total number of up to 1,200 russian and ossetian servicemen were formed and sent to Ukraine. Two units of the 7th Military Base were formed, which is about 800 people.
In the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhzhia and Kherson oblasts, the enemy continues to commit illegal acts against the local population.
Thus, in the settlement of Velyka Bilozirka, units of the russian occupiers were scattered throughout the settlement and placed equipment between residential buildings.
In the city of Melitopol, the russian invaders on the outskirts of the city equipped checkpoints and strengthened the bypass regime.
The russian enemy continues to loot the homes and apartments of local residents, detain pro-Ukrainian activists and government officials in Ukraine.
In the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk region, the occupying authorities plan to hold another wave of mobilization from April 1 this year. It is possible that such efforts will be made in the recently occupied territories of the region.
According to available information, the armed forces of the russian federation continue to have problems with staffing units. Thus, servicemen of the 26th Tank Regiment of the 47th Tank Division, who signed contracts after their participation in the war with Ukraine, began to submit reports requesting to terminate the contract and send them to a permanent location for further service.
In the past 24hrs, the Joint Forces of Ukraine have repulsed four attacks by the russian occupiers in the Donetsk and Luhansk areas. Our soldiers destroyed 7 tanks, 7 armoured vehicles units, 2 vehicles and an anti-tank gun. The enemy suffered casualties.

Briefing by Russian Defence Ministry
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.
High-precision air-based missiles have destroyed large fuel depots in Starokostantinov and Khmelnitskii districts from which fuel had been supplied to Ukrainian forces‘ armoured vehicles in Donbass.
Iskander operational and tactical missile system has destroyed two large missile and artillery weapons depots in Kamenka, Donetsk Region.
During an aireal battle, 1 Ukrainian Air Force Su-24 has been shot down near Tumen, Roven Region, near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border.
Air defenсe means of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down 10 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Izyum, Novaya Kakhovka, Donetsk, Nikolaev, Berdyansk, Gorlovka, Lugansk and Rubezhnoe.
During the day on March 27, operational-tactical and missile troops hit 64 military assets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Among them: 4 command posts, including the headquarters of the Ukrainian special operations forces near Bereznigovatoe, Nikolaev region, 3 anti–aircraft missile systems – 1 S–300 near Malin cuty, Zhitomir region and 2 Buk-M1 near Ugledar and Slavyansk. 3 multiple launch rocket systems, 2 artillery batteries and 49 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment and strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces were also destroyed.
In total, 124 aircfaft and 77 helicopters, 214 unmanned aerial vehicles, 321 unmanned aerial vehicles, 1,752 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 184 multiple launch rocket systems, 734 field artillery and mortars, as well as 1,640 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed during the operation.
The Russian Defence Ministry has already repeatedly exposed the cynical lies used by the Kiev nationalist regime to maintain its power in Ukraine and mislead the international community.
On March 20, for example, President Zelensky, in a video address to the Israeli Knesset, accused Russia of allegedly targeting Uman city in Cherkasy region.
To enhance the dramatic effect, Zelensky stated, and I quote, „this is a place visited by tens of thousands of Israelis every year for the pilgrimage of Tzaddik Nachman.“
I would like to stress that during the special military operation, the Russian Armed Forces do not strike civilian objects. All the more so when it comes to places of worship and any other places of public worship.
It is the Kiev regime, in violation of international humanitarian law and simply moral norms, that uses such facilities as collection and transfer points for weapons and Nazis to take part in hostilities.
Today we present evidence received from a member of the Uman Jewish community of the use by the Zelensky regime for this purpose of the building of the new city synagogue, located at Shosseiny Lane 1.
Photographs taken on March 21, the day after Zelensky’s speech to the Knesset, show the formation of two columns of nationalists on the synagogue grounds.
I would like to point out that the property, weapons and ammunition stored in the synagogue building were first loaded by the nationalists into the backs of dump trucks and then disguised as bags of building rubbish.
At the same time, buses painted as school vehicles with appropriate „Children“ signs are being used to transport nationalists and foreign mercenaries from western regions of Ukraine, as can be clearly seen in the photos.
Thus, the building of the Jewish cult in Uman is being deliberately used by the Kiev nationalist regime for military purposes. To provoke conflict and political pressure on Russia by Jewish religious organisations in the event of a strike on it.

The measures announced today include 6,000 missiles, consisting of anti-tank and high explosive weapons, and £25 million in financial backing for the Ukrainian military. This more than doubles the defensive lethal aid provided to date to more than 10,000 missiles, and comes on top of the £400 million the UK has committed in humanitarian and economic aid for the crisis.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, developing an offensive, have broken through the heavily fortified defences of the enemy, crossed the Shaitanka River and are fighting with units of the 53rd Mechanised Brigade on the approaches to Velikaya Novoselka.
A mop-up of nationalist formations is underway in Zolotaya Niva. The advance was 8 kilometers. Up to 50 personnel, 3 tanks, 5 IFVs and 8 vehicles of various purposes were destroyed in this area.
Units of the Lugansk People’s Republic continue their offensive on Severodonetsk. Fighting to mop-up Zhytlovka settlement is underway.
Ukrainian nationalist battalions in Severodonetsk direction suffer serious losses. As a result of the disruption of transport links, possibilities to replenish them are blocked. During the day, over 50 nationalists, 2 tanks, 3 IFVs and 2 missile and artillery depots were destroyed in this area.
Planned regrouping of troops in Kiev and Chernigov directions is underway.
The first stage of the special military operation conducted by the Russian Armed Forces in Donbas and Ukraine was planned to force the enemy to concentrate its forces, means, resources and military equipment to hold on to high populated areas in these directions, including Kiev. To bring them down on the battlefield and, without storming these cities to avoid civilian casualties, inflict such a defeat on the armed formations of the Kiev regime that it would not be able to use these forces in the main direction of our Armed Forces in Donbass.
All these goals have been met.
At the same time, the Russian army also solved another task, namely – in the absence of an inflow of fresh enemy forces from the western and central regions of Ukraine, through professional military action, using the absolute air dominance it had gained, also using modern high-precision weapons – to create all the necessary conditions for the final stage of the operation to liberate the People’s Republics of Donbass.
To this end, the long-term defensive fortifications created by the Kiev regime over eight years have been, and continue to be, continuously targeted. All major lines of communication, supply and reserve approach are taken under full control. Ukraine’s air defence systems, airfield infrastructure, major military depots, training and mercenary concentration centres have been destroyed. Work on them continues.
Thus, all the main tasks of the Russian Armed Forces in Kiev and Chernigov directions have been completed.
The objective of the regrouping of the Russian Armed Forces is to intensify action in priority areas and, above all, to complete the operation for the total liberation of Donbass.
Over the past day, air defenсe means of the Russian Aerospace Forces shot down 2 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles near Balakleya and Verkhnetoretskoe.
Operational-tactical and army aviation hit 69 military assets of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Among them: 3 command posts, 2 multiple launch rocket system, 8 ammunition and missile-artillery weapons depots and 52 areas of military equipment concentration.
In total, 124 aircfaft and 77 helicopters, 214 unmanned aerial vehicles, 323 unmanned aerial vehicles, 1,767 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 186 multiple launch rocket systems, 741 field artillery and mortars, as well as 1,657 units of special military vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed during the operation.
The Russian Defence Ministry continues to study documents received from employees of Ukrainian laboratories about secret military biological activities of the United States in Ukraine.
A study of the new material by Russian experts of the Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Protection Troops identified specific officials who had been involved in the creation of the biological weapons components.
These are the heads of units and staff of the US Department of Defense, as well as its main contracting companies. As the ongoing journalistic investigations in the Western press show, these campaigns were directly linked to the son of the current US president, Hunter Biden.
As a result of the special military operation, research in a number of Ukrainian bio-laboratories, where work with strains of particularly dangerous pathogens was being carried out on behalf of the Pentagon, has been stopped.
A number of documents obtained from these laboratories, however, reveal the concealment of the test subjects‘ identities and the serious risk to their lives.
Of particular interest are documents indicating the Kiev regime’s plans to use drones capable of carrying and dispersing lethal substances.
The revealed facts prove that the Kiev regime was seriously considering the use of biological weapons against the population of Donbass, and the Russian Federation.
We will provide more details on the results of the analysis of the documents received and the facts revealed at a special briefing in the near future.

• Das Abendbriefing des ukrainischen Generalstabs:

The russian enemy continues to conduct full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine. Some units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation are being partially withdrawn from the territory of Kyiv and Chernihiv oblasts.
The russian enemy has significant difficulties with the introduction of combat equipment removed from long-term storage. Thus, according to available information, a significant amount of inoperable equipment was found in the 163rd Tank Regiment of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division. The russian enemy is considering the possibility of transporting faulty equipment to the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk region with the help of tractors, for its further restoration.
The enemy continues to suffer significant losses. According to the available information, on March 28, a farewell ceremony with the fallen russian servicemen took place at the permanent location of the 83rd separate assault brigade. Their number is approximately 200 people.
The self-proclaimed leadership of the republic of belarus continues to deny participation in the war against Ukraine, freely providing territories for the russian Armed Forces, airfields and transport networks, as well as locations for cruise and ballistic missile launchers. At the same time, in accordance with international legal acts, an aggressor can be considered „a country that provides its airspace, its territory for strikes on a third country.“
The republic of belarus also provides the russian occupiers with the opportunity to use the network of medical institutions on its territory. So, during the last days to the settlement of Narovlya of the Gomel area arrival from the territory of Ukraine of a large number of the russian military men of various degree of wounds is noted.
