• Das britische Intel Update:
As a result of a Ukrainian strike against a Russian ammunition train in Kherson oblast, southern Ukraine, it is highly unlikely the rail link connecting Kherson with Crimea remains operational.
Russian forces are likely to repair the railway line within a few days, although it will remain a vulnerability for Russia forces and their logistical resupply route from Crimea into Kherson.
Russia has promoted the ferry crossing recently established to replace the damaged Antonovsky Bridge over the Dnipro river in Kherson as for civilian use, however Russian military forces will almost certainly utilise it for troop movements and logistical resupply.
It is likely that we will see an increase in civilians attempting to flee Kherson and the surrounding area as hostilities continue and food shortages worsen.

The one hundred sixty-first (161) day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian people to a russian military invasion continues.
The enemy continues to carry out air and missile strikes on civilian objects on the territory of Ukraine.
In the Volyn and Polissya directions, communications training of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the republic of belarus was held. The occupiers continue to use the territory of the republic of belarus to transfer sabotage and intelligence groups to the territory of Ukraine.
In the Siversky direction, the enemy fired at the positions of our troops from barrel artillery. Conducts aerial reconnaissance in the border areas of Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts. The work of the enemy’s means of radio-electronic warfare is noted.
In the Slobozhansky direction, the enemy is conducting combat operations with the aim of holding the occupied lines and preventing the offensive of units of the Defense Forces.
In the Kharkiv direction, the areas of the settlements of Kharkiv, Prudyanka, Pytomnyk, Ruski Tyshki, Nova Mykolaivka, Rubizhne, Pishchane, Borshcheva, Zamulivka, Lebyazhe, Korobochkyne, Bazaliivka and Basove were shelled.
The occupiers made an advance in the direction of Kochubeyivka – Dementiyivka, were repulsed and retreated.
In the Slovyansk direction, shelling from barrel and rocket artillery was recorded near Nova Dmytrivka, Bohorodychne, Chepil, Karnaukhivka, Dovhenky, Barvinkove, Shnurky, Husarivka, and Dmytrivka.
With the forces of the reconnaissance group, the enemy tried to conduct reconnaissance south of Mazanivka, the occupiers were detected and neutralized.
In Donetsk region, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Bakhmut direction.
In the direction of Siversk, the enemy fired from barrel and rocket artillery, as well as tanks near Siversk, Serebryanka, and Hryhorivka. Conducted aerial reconnaissance of the UAVs near Nykyforivka and Tetyanivka.
In the Bakhmut direction, in order to dislodge our units from the occupied lines, artillery shelling was conducted in the areas of Kodema, Semyhirya, Travneve, Vyimka, Berestove, Bakhmutske and Opytne settlements. Carried out airstrikes near Semihirya and Bilohorivka.
The enemy launched an offensive in the area of the western outskirts of Berestove, was unsuccessful, and retreated. The situation is the same on the directions Volodymyrivka – Yakovlivka and Semihirya – Kodema.
Fighting continues on the Volodymyrivka – Soledar and Pokrovske – Bakhmut directions.
Ukrainian soldiers inflicted powerful fire damage on the directions of Vidrodzhennya – Kodem and Dolomytne – Semihyrya and forced the occupiers to withdraw.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy shelled the Avdiivka area. Tried to improve the tactical position, unsuccessfully, retreated with losses.
On the Novopavlivske and Zaporizhzhia directions, shelling was recorded near Kostyantynivka, Novosilky, Velyka Novosilka, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novopole, Yurkivka, and Hulyaipole.
Due to the low level of staffing of the tank regiment of the reserve, the equipment of the military unit, which was moved to the Zaporizhzhia direction at the end of May of this year, was handed over for additional staffing of the tank battalions that are part of the 58th Combined Arms Army of the Southern Military District.
To counteract the technical means of intelligence, the enemy deploys means of radio-electronic warfare.
In the South Buh region, in order to hinder the actions of our troops, the enemy is shelling positions from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Potyomkyne, Topolyne, Knyazivka, Velyka Kostromka, Apostolove, Stepova Dolyna, Posad Pokrovske, Novohrihorivka, Luparevo, Lymany, Kobzartsi, Shyroke, Kvitneve and Bilohirka. Used aviation to attack the area of the Plotnytske tract.
It conducts aerial reconnaissance to clarify the position of our troops, adjust fire and control the camouflage of his units.
It continues to take measures to ensure the protection of bridge crossings across the Dnipro River.
In the waters of the Black Sea, there are two Kalibr sea-based cruise missile carriers ready to use high-precision weapons.
The enemy’s aviation group conducts systematic combat operations in order to support the actions of ground groups. Efforts are focused on hitting military facilities in the Donetsk direction. Due to bad weather conditions, the intensity of aviation flights is reduced.
Ukrainian missile and artillery units continue to fire at strongpoints, manpower concentrations, and enemy logistical support bases.

The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation continue the special military operation in Ukraine.
High-precision strike of the Russian Aerospace Forces on a temporary deployment point of 81st AFU Airmobile Brigade in Nikolaevka, Donetsk People’s Republic, has destroyed over 50 nationalists and 6 vehicles.
High-precision, long-range airborne missiles have destroyed a storage base with foreign-made weapons and ammunition near Radekhov, Lvov Region, supplied to the Kiev regime from Poland.
Commanders of 132nd Reconnaissance Battalion refused to follow orders from their commanders and crossed Severskyi Donets River with their personnel and left for a temporary deployment point near Nortsovka in Kharkov Region due to high losses caused by artillery fire.
Operational-tactical and army aviation, missile troops and artillery strikes continue against military facilities in Ukraine.
3 command posts have been hit, including a battalion of 72nd Mechanized Brigade near Veselaya Dolina in Donetsk People’s Republic and 65th Mechanized Brigade near Yulievka, Zaporozhye Region, as well as 133 areas of AFU manpower and military equipment concentration.
4 missile and artillery weapons and ammunition depots near Varvarovka, Artemovsk, Vodyanoye, and Ocheretino in Donetsk People’s Republic, as well as 1 fuel storage facility for military equipment near Galitsynovo, Nikolaev Region, have been destroyed.
In the course of counter-battery warfare, 2 platoons of Grad multiple-launch rocket systems, 3 platoons of Msta-B guns, 3 platoons of Gvozdika guns and 2 platoons of D-30 howitzers at firing positions near Tonen’koye, Lastochkino, Zaitsevo, Avdeevka, Novgorodskoye, Orlovka, Shakhtorskoye and Novoselovka Pervaya in Donetsk People’s Republic have been suppressed.
Russian air defence means have shot down 5 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the air overnight near Dibrova, Donetsk People’s Republic, Balakleya, Kapitolovka and Dmitrovka, Kharkov Region.
In addition, 2 Tochka-U ballistic missiles have been intercepted near Chernobaevka, Kherson Region.
In total, 261 Ukrainian airplanes and 145 helicopters, 1,669 unmanned aerial vehicles, 361 anti-aircraft missile systems, 4,231 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 782 multiple launch rocket systems, 3,242 field artillery and mortars, as well as 4,676 units of special military vehicles were destroyed during the operation.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy carried out fire damage from tanks, barrel and jet artillery in the areas of the settlements of Duvanka, Dementiivka, Zolochiv, Prudyanka, Svitlychne, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Lisne, Ruski Tyshki, Cherkaski Tyshky, Petrivka, Mykhailivka, Korobochkyne, Stara Hnylytsia, Mospanove, Pryshyb, Peremoha, Ukrainka, Rubizhne, Verkhniy Saltiv, Stary Saltiv, Molodova and Velyka Babka. Made an airstrike near Prudyanka.
Conducted aerial reconnaissance of UAVs near Petrivka, Fedorivka and Dementiivka.
Used means of radio-electronic warfare in Ivanivka, Studenka, Vasylenkove and Hetmanivka districts.
In the Slovyansk direction, the enemy fired artillery of various calibers in the areas of Protopopivka, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Mechebylove, Husarivka, Chepil, Nortsivka, Dolyna, Mazanivka, Krasnopillia settlements. Novopavlivka, Dovgenke, Dibrivne, Brazhkivka, Virnopillya, Chervone, Karnaukhivka, Ridne, Adamivka, Bogorodychne and Mayak.
In the Kramatorsk direction, shelling was recorded near Zvanivka, Starodubivka, Spirne, Siversk, Verkhnokamyanske, Pyskunivka, and Hryhorivka.
In the Bakhmut direction, the occupiers fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Berestove, Soledar, Yakovlivka, Zaitseve, Travneve, Kodema, Mayorsk, Pidgorodne, Vesela Dolyna, Pokrovske, Krasnopolivka, Bilohorivka and Vesele. The enemy also carried out airstrikes near Bakhmutske, Soledar, Berestove, Yakovlivka, and Klynove.
The russian invaders carried out assaults in the Berestove area and in the directions of Volodymyrivka – Yakovlivka, Pokrovske – Bakhmut, Volodymyrivka – Soledar, Vidrodzhennya – Kodema, Vidrodzhenmya – Zaytseve, Semihirya – Kodema and Dolomitne – Semihirya. Ukrainian soldiers repelled all enemy assault attempts, inflicted losses on the invaders and pushed them back.
In the Avdiivka direction, the enemy fired tanks and artillery at the districts of New York, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Pisky, Netaylove, and Kamyanka.
The enemy tried to launch an offensive in the directions of Novoselivka Druga – Krasnohorivka, Spartak – Avdiivka, Vasylivka – Krasnohorivka, Mineralne – Avdiivka, and in the direction of Donetsk – Pisky, but was unsuccessful and retreated.
On the Novopavlivske and Zaporizhzhia areas, shelling was recorded in the areas of Maryinka, Novomykhailivka, Bogoyavlenka, Shevchenko, Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Novopilla, Zelene Pole, Novosilka, Zaliznychne, Mali Shcherbaky, Kamianske, Mala Tokmachka , Lukyanivske, Neskuchne, Poltavka, Mohyla Storozhova, Olhivske, Novoandriivka, Novodanylivka, Chervone, Bilohirya and Vremivka. The enemy launched airstrikes near Novosilka, Novopola and Poltavka.
All attempts of the occupiers to advance in the direction of Maryinka and Bilohirka were nullified by our defenders.
In the South Buh region, the enemy fired from tanks, barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of Mykolaiv, Prybuzke, Zorya, Luch, Posad-Pokrovske, Lymany, Lupareve, Partyzanske, Kobzartsi, Nova Zorya, Andriivka, Bila Krynytsia, Chervonyi Yar, Lepetyha, Halitsynove, Lyubomirivka and Chervona Dolyna.
It carried out an air strike near the Andriivka tract.
Led an offensive battle in the direction of Bilohirka, had no success, withdrew.
The enemy does not stop aerial reconnaissance by UAVs.

Die dynamische, volatile Entwicklung an der HKL Donezk, Saporischschja, insbesondere Cherson und Mykolajiw, bietet keine signifikante Veränderungen, ob zu vermerken ist, dass in Russland eine verdeckte Mobilmachung forciert wird (u.a. Aufstellung von sog. Freiwilligen-Bataillone).
Zunehmend gemeldete Luftangriffe der russischen Angriffsverbände lassen darauf schließen, dass sich die Angreifer sicherer fühlen und vermuten, dass es z. B. den Frontverbänden der UA an Fliegerfäusten (z. B. FIM – 92 Stinger) fehlen könnte. Immerhin hat der Bund in seinem Gesamtliefervolumen von etwa 661 Millionen Euro auch 500 Stinger abgegeben).
Andere Staaten in der EU tun sich zunehmend schwerer mit der Bereitschaft zur Waffenlieferung, Spanien und Italien halten sich stark zurück, die Unterstützung durch Frankreich lässt sich nicht so recht einschätzen.
Allerdings hängt insbesondere Deutschland bei den wirtschaftlichen Sanktionen als Schlusslicht international hinterher, immerhin ist es in Berlin ein Grundstück bzw eine Immobilie zu finden, welche einem russischen Oligarchen zugeordnet werden konnte.
Der öffentliche Auftritt eines ehemaligen deutschen Bundeskanzlers und seine in der Öffentlichkeit gelebten Freundschaft zum Chef der Despoten – Regierung blamiert die Bundesrepublik Deutschland und das Ansehen der Deutschen Regierung und Gesellschaft im internationalen Rahmen unentschuldbar.
Es bleibt der Regierung in Kiew derweil nur der Zukauf von Waffen aus den USA, GB (ggfs ISR und FRA).
Militärische Teil-Erfolge stellen sich auch zugunsten der UA ein. So wurde ein russischer Munitionszug in der Region Cherson getroffen und der Nachschub der Russen gestört. Indes bleibt es auch der Kreativität der Kampfführung der UA überlassen, die Maßnahmen vor Ort zu treffen, die geeignete und wirksam sind, um russische Verbände in Bewegung zu bringen und so die Ziele zu haben, die im Fokus stehen. Auch lässt sich das Gelände nutzen. Ein Potenzial, welches von den Streitkräften der UA noch nicht so genutzt wurde, wie es vielleicht möglich wäre.

Ja, finde ich auch recht interessant und gut gelungen. Die Betrachtung der Lage-Karte ist das eine, indes bekommt die UA jedoch den turn-around nicht hin. Die Gefahr besteht bei einer Front, in der sich die Stellungen verfestigen, dass dies zum Nachteil der UA ausgehen kann, da der russische Nachschub weiter rollt und die Stellungen der UA sukzessive durch die russischen Truppen aufgeklärt werden können.
Gelingt es beispielsweise den Kräften der UA die Nachschub-Güterzüge der russischen Angreifer zu stoppen und zu stören, kann die Uhr danach gestellt werden, dass die Russen versuchen werden, diese Bahn-und Nachschublinie wieder aufzubauen. Zugleich bieten die Russen damit ein Angriffsziel. Und aus meiner Sicht wäre das ein hochwertiges Ziel.
Wenn die UA auch infolge der Unterlegenheit keine Kampfflugzeuge mehr erfolgreich starten kann, so würde allerdings ein Drohnenangriff durchaus erfolgversprechend sein. Mit anderen Worten : das Aufreiben der russischen Truppen gelingt der UA nicht in dem Umfang, wie dies notwendig ist.
Der Schritt in Richtung „Ultima Ratio“ gelingt den Streitkräften der UA noch nicht. So wird beispielsweise eine Brücke beschossen und beschädigt, diese aber nicht zerstört und russische Verbände legen Behelfsübergänge an, ohne dass diese unter Beschluss geraten.
Die UA hat den Vorteil den Funkverkehr der russischen Truppen abhören und mitlesen zu können. Insoweit erscheinen mir die Ergebnisse der Leistungen der UA geführten Verbände unbefriedigend zu sein, weil die russischen Angreifer zuviele zweite Chancen bekommen, völlig unnötiger Weise.
@Sandro Valechi: Die vorrückende Partei benötigt ein Kräfteverhältnis von 4:1 um erfolgversprechende Gewinne erzählen zu können. Dies gilt dann, wenn die Kampfkraft und der Gefechtswert vergleichbar ist.
Den Turn-Around würde die Ukraine schaffen, wenn sie Durchbruchswaffen hätte. Denn solange jedes Vorrücken ukrainischer Kräfte unter einer Feuerwalze russischer Artillerie verebbt friert der Frontverlauf bestenfalls ein. Das erleben wir zur Zeit.
Zudem kann Russland z.Zt mobilisieren, die Qualität der Ausstattung der ukrainischen Verteidiger steigt jedoch nicht.

Also das ist schon etwas weit hergeholt. International ist die ganze Welt. Und selbst in der EU gibt es noch Leute wie Orban und andere die noch dreister mit Putin Kumpeln. Österreich ist auf jeden fall auch noch „hinter“ uns. DE nutzt ab 31.12. zb keine Ausnahmegenehmigung bezüglich Öl durch Pipelines. DE zahlt nicht in Rubel für Gas. Griechische Reeder bringen gerne russisches Öl nach Saudi Arabien oder Indien usw usf.
Ihr „Gemecker“ über die ukrainische Strategie/Taktik finde ich ebenfalls mindestens etwas übertrieben ;)

Den gleichen Vorteil hätten die Russen anders herum aber auch. Und als „gelernter NVA-Funkaufklärer mit 13jähriger Berufserfahrung“ weiß ich, das Funkaufklärungsergebnisse nach Möglichkeit durch andere Aufklärungsmethoden und -organe bestätigt werden sollten. Ein Teil des funkelektronischen Kampfes (oder Eloka) ist nämlich die Funktäuschung.

Bedanke mich für ihren Beitrag zur Lageeinschätzung und ihrer kurzen, aber m. E. nach zielführenden Lagebeurteilung. Demnach wäre eine grundlegende Lageänderung wohl aktuell und in absehbarer Zeit nicht zu erwarten, wenn ich sie richtig verstanden habe. Auch die Lageeinschätzung durch die NATO teilt ihre Bewertung und sieht noch immer eine militärische Übermacht der russischen Angreifer im Osten der UA, unter Bezug auf den Vorteil bei der Artillerie.
Aktuellen Berichten vom heutigen Tag stellen das Thema Drohnen wieder in den Fokus, offenbar soll im Rahmen des Treffens in Sotchi die russische Despoten-Regierung großes Interesse an Drohnen aus türkischer Produktion gezeigt haben. Vielleicht kann TW hierzu weitere Informationen beisteuern.
Und aus Nordmazedonien sollen Panzer aus russischer Produktion an die UA abgegeben werden. Ebenfalls 4 Kampfjets vom Typ SU-25.
Hält indes der Krieg, der wohl zu einem Abnutzungskrieg mutieren wird, an, bleibt die Frage, wie es weitergeht.
Sie sprechen das Kräfteverhältnis an und sehen das skeptisch, indes erklärt die UA unter dem 12.07.2022 ‚theoretisch‘ über 1.000.000 Erwachsene unter Waffen zu verfügen, während die russischen Angreifer mit etwa 180.000 Truppen im Osten der UA aktiv sein sollen. Gerne hätte ich auch ihre Einschätzung zur Beurteilung des Geländes (unter Bezugnahme auf die Umweltbedingungen) gehört, was ja unweigerlich Thema werden wird, wenn der (ein) Abnutzungskrieg anhalten sollte (wonach es derzeit aussieht)

Historisch hat sich in derartigen Szenarien der Begriff „Meast Grinder“ oder „Menschenfresser“ etabliert. Bitter, aber die russische Artillerie „grinded“ auch 1.000.000 Soldaten, wenn diese nicht über Panzerung (Durchbruchswaffe Kampfpanzer, Truppentransporter/Infantry Fighting Vehicles) und eigene Artillerie (Art-Duell) verfügt.
Die Art liefern wir und sehen, die Ukraine bekommt die Logistik hierfür auf die Kette, es kommen also mehr MARS, Haubitzen und gezogene Geschütze samt Mun. Kampfpanzer sind logistisch nochmal eine Steigerung in Ausbildung, Führung und Versorgung (Mun, Wartung, etc.).
Momentan können die Verteidiger den Vormarsch der Russen empfindlich stören und bestenfalls noch vor dem Winter (bzw. der Herbst-Rasputizia) einfrieren.
